PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive heat fixation device which has high heat absorptivity and a shortened wait time and is high in reliability and durability by providing a heating means in a cylindrical metallic tube which has a chemically converted porous surface as its internal surface. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical blank with a 23.1phi is formed of Al by roll drawing and the external surface is cut to 25.0phi. The blank is dipped in a hydrochloric acid solution at 60 deg.C for 10min and then washed, and it is neutralized in a 5% caustic soda solution, washed again, and dried. Support parts A1 and A2 which are unworked parts are cut and ethylene tetrafluoride is stuck to the surface of a fixation part B and baked at 400 deg.C to obtain a fixation roll R having the internal porous surface. This roll R consists of the fixation part B corresponding to a paper passing part, support part A1, fixed ring mount grooves C1 and C2, a gear mount part A2, and a fixed ring groove C3, and is provided with a heating means internally to absorb heat by the internal porous surface sufficiently. |
