PURPOSE:To perform effective sorting operation by reading slip through an OCR, distributing rejected data to a terminal device for correction through a distributor and storing it together with normal data after correction, and sorting slip by identification marks. CONSTITUTION:Plural OCR printers 13 read slips and also print identification marks. When they are read normally, their data are sent to a CPU12 and the slips are sent to an OCR sorting device 19. When rejection occurs, the data is sent to the terminal 18 for corrected character input through the distributor 14 and its CRT screen is viewed to input a correct character. When the terminal 18 is full, the data is stored temporarily stored and made standly on a disk 15. The corrected data is sent to the CPU12, and transferred to a disk 16 together with normal slip data while recorded on a tape 17. All slips are sent to the OCR sorting device 19 after being read and then sorted automatically by previously printed marks. Thus, the sorting operation is carried out efficiently. |
