PURPOSE:To attain the reservation of transmission of an original by using an automatic dial means when a transmission end identification sheet is detected during the transmission so as to apply automatic call thereby sending an original set next to the identification sheet. CONSTITUTION:The reservation input control means 32 of a control circuit 3 stores an abbreviation number in a reservation memory 11 when the abbreviated number is inputted by dial key operation on a console panel 9 during the transmission. Further, a reservation transmission control means 33 supervises the feeding of a transmission end identification sheet shorter than the shortest original length capable of reading and scanning during the transmission. When the said sheet is detected, the present transmission is finished after the sheet is transmitted and the abbreviated number stored in the memory 11 is read succeedingly. The abbreviated number applies automatic dial control to call the transmission party thereby starting a new transmission.
