PURPOSE:To use an MPU device with high reliability by adding a selecting circuit to hardware, and checking the hardware under operation. CONSTITUTION:A data based on a program from an MPU2 is inputted to a selecting circuit 4-1 through a common bus 8, and for instance, a common hardware 3-1 and a bus 9-1. This circuit 4-1 is a gate circuit constituted of an integrated circuit, and a checking program is sent out to a hardware 6-1 by a half of the circuit 4-1. A response of this program is read by the MPU2 through the hardware 3-1 from the hardware 6-1, and in accordance with this program, whether the hardware 6-1 is good or not is decided. |
