PURPOSE:To increase the distance where a servo mechanism functions effectively to a stop position with no deterioration of the stop position resolution of a shift mechanism, by moving the shift mechanism until the coincidence is obtained between a position address and a target position address and judging the shift direction in response to the position detecting signal in a stop mode. CONSTITUTION:When a linear motor 7 is once shifted toward B, the position signal given from a switching circuit 17 is reduced than the previous one. The counter of a coupling circuit 27 performs count-down by the clock signal sent from a clock signal generating circuit 29. This count output drives a driving circuit 41, and the motor 7 is moved toward A. In such a way, the shift of the motor 7 is stopped when the counter of the circuit 27 counts zero. Therefore the effective servo distance is shown by (h) in the figure at a set point (l). Thus it is possible to obtain a servo distance larger than the stop position resolution (i). |
