This motor vehicle headlamp is of the type comprising a reflector of substantially paraboloid form having an opening in its centre through which a lamp is inserted and removably secured at the rear of the reflector by means of a forked retaining spring; a front glass fixed to the rim of the reflector; and a light shield supported by the reflector between the lamp and the front glass.
