The manufacturing data of the wide-angle objective are close to the data of a table specifying radii of curvature and thicknesses so that none of the area refraction powers deviate by more than 0.4 x 1/f and none of the vertical distances by more than 0.05 xf from the relevant values given in the table. The first and last element of a three-element objective have negative refractive powers and the centre element has positive refractive power. The diaphragm is positioned between the second and third element. The objectives are very suitable for mirror reflex cameras or cameras which feature a light-sensitive element between the objective and the picture window.
