TUYERE OPENER FOR CONVERTER

PURPOSE:To enable operation with high accuracy by using a DC servocontrol motor as a driving device for moving a carriage. CONSTITUTION:When the previous tuyere opening operation ends, a sequence controller 22 emits the moving command of a carriage 5a to a speed control circuit 24. The control program for the movement extent and speed under movement of the carriage 5a is beforehand set by numerical keys 23 in a sequence controller 22. The circuit 24 compares the pulse number fed to the controller 22 from a pulse transmitter 21 with the value set by the keys 23 simultaneously while processing the feedback signal by a tachogenerator mounted to a DC servocontrol motor 10 and prcocesses successively the commands for high speed and low speed operations and stoppage emitted to the circuit 24 from the controller 22. The operation of the motor 10 is thus controlled and the position of the carriage 5a is matched with the intended tuyere.
