发明名称 POSITIONING CONTROLLER FOR MAGNETIC HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the movement time of a controller side by switching and using a speed signal based upon the current integral value of a carriage motor and a speed signal obtained by differentiating a position signal as specified and bringing a carriage under servocontrol. CONSTITUTION:When the position signal from a position detecting circuit 17 is switched, analog switches 13 and 22 are turned on and off respectively and a speed control signal from a current integration circuit 21 which integrates the current of the motor 15 for driving the carriage 16 is supplied to a feedback circuit. Then, when a transient state is entered, an analog switch 12 is also turned on to correct the speed signal and performs feedback control, and when a stable state is entered, only the switch 12 is turned on to perform position control under the feedback control of the speed signal through a detector 17 and a differentiation circuit 18. This constitution eliminates the need to set the speed to zero during position signal switching and a magnetic head is moved after the certain number of a pulses are received without receiving all pulses corresponding to the number of target cylinders. Consequently, the apparent movement time of the controller side is shortened and the processing time is shortened.
