The invention relates to a hairdressing method consisting in curling individual locks of hair after washing and during drying of the latter. To this end, a current of suctioning air (A) is channelled inside a suction tube (11) extended by a shaping element (15) ending in a neck portion (37). The current of air (A) is oriented within the tube according to xx'. According to the direction s, the shaping element (15) is brought close to a lock (40) to be treated so that the latter is taken up inside (43) the element (15). Then, according to the direction a, the axis xx' of the element (15) is tilted with respect to that yy' of the lock (40) and this element (15) is slid in the direction t so as to curve the lock (40) into a variable longitudinal position over a rim (54) of the element (15). This produces a "curlpaper" effect, giving volume and waves to the hairstyle whose characteristics can be very variable in order to obtain any hairstyling effect. This effect can be accentuated by the combined use of a force-drying element delivering a jet of hot air in the direction of the end of the shaping element (15). <IMAGE> |
