The device is intended for producing or controlling oscillations, in particular pressure oscillations in ozone reactors. It consists of a pendulum on which are arranged pendulum masses which are constructed to be operationally connected to a mating element constructed like a compressor. Two pendulum masses (3, 4) are arranged in each case on the pendulum arm (2) on both sides, which can oscillate oppositely with respect to one another in each case. The one pendulum mass (3) is arranged so as to be capable of moving at an angle of beta = 90 DEG with respect to its pendulum radius (R1), and the other pendulum mass (4) is arranged so as to be capable of moving at an angle gamma of less than 90 DEG with respect to its pendulum radius (R2). <IMAGE>
