Two-wheel dynamo device having an encapsulated dynamo which can be driven via a shaft, a device which picks off a torque from a running wheel, and a gear connected between the pick-off device and the dynamo shaft. The housing (3) encapsulating the dynamo (2) is built into the hub of the running wheel and connected fixed in terms of rotation to the two-wheel fork. An internally geared wheel (29) which rotates about the hub axis is connected to the running wheel and via a gearing (22) drives the dynamo shaft (7) projecting out of the housing (3). <IMAGE>
