The temperature-dependent drive, which is enclosed in a housing, for adjusting a thermostatically controlled valve acts via an angled lever on the actuating drive of the valve. The temperature-dependent drive is arranged in a housing which is closed on all sides and has only perforations for the passage of environmental air and operation of a hand wheel for the valve. The installation position of the valve can be changed as desired as a result of the use of the deflection drive formed by the angled lever, and the heat radiated by the radiator can be screened from the temperature-dependent drive by means of the housing which is closed on all sides.
