PURPOSE:To improve the high-speed durability, drive feeling, and the high-speed steering stability by constituting a belt layer embedded into the tread part of a radial tire from a steel cord layer and an organic fiber-cord layer. CONSTITUTION:The captioned tire 1 consists of a tread part 2, side-wall part 3 which extends inwardly in the radial direction from the both edges, bead part 4, and cords which extend nearly in parallel with respect to the radial direction of the tire, and the both edges of the cord are turned-up around a bead core to form a toroid-shaped carcass 5. A belt layer 6 is arranged on the outside in the radial direction of said carcass 5. In this case, the belt layer 6 is constituted of a composite layer consisting of a steel cord layer 7 arranged in contiguity with the carcass 5 and an organic-fiber cord layer 8 arranged outside the steel cord layer. Further, one end of the cord layer 8 is turned-up to the cored layer 7 side, and the other edge is turned-up to the tread part 2 side, over the edge part of the cord layer 7. |
