Electromechanical frequency filter

The invention relates to an electromechanical frequency filter in the preferable frequency range of from 300 kHz to 1 MHz on the basis of torsional vibrators arranged axially in parallel. Such filters are used for frequency selection in communication and measuring technology. According to the invention, the torsional vibrators are calibrated in such a manner that their nth torsional resonant frequency corresponds to the centre frequency of the filter. This produces several regions on the resonators which are available for coupling the resonators to one another. In the result of the application, frequency filters having minimum external dimensions can be achieved. The essence of the invention is shown most clearly in Figure 3. <IMAGE>
