PURPOSE:To permit a tire to be used as snow tire in the early period and used as general tire afterwards by arranging a rubber compound having the superior low-temperature characteristic on the tread layer on the grounded surface side and a rubber compound having the superior wear-resistance on the opposite side to the grounded side of the tread layer. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire has a tread layer T divided into two layers, i.e., is constituted of a tread layer 10 arranged on the grounded surface side, tread layer 20 arranged in contiguity with the under side of the tread layer, i.e., opposite side to the grounded side of the tread layer, 10 and an undertread layer 30 arranged in contiguity with the lower side side of the layer 20, i.e., the carcass side. In this case, a rubber compound A having the superior low-temperature characteristic is arranged on the tread layer 10, and a rubber compound B having the superior wear-resistance is arranged on the tread layer 20. Further, a rubber compound C having a low heat-generation performance is arranged onto an undertread layer 30. The depth (d) of the tread layer 10 is set, for example, to 50% of the depth D of a main groove 40 formed on the tread part T, and thus a groove 41 is formed as a measure therefor. |
