PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which does not cause clogging of a nozzle and has a short apparent drying time, consisting of a water-soluble dye, water and N,N-dis[polyoxyethylene]-p-toluenesulfonamide as a wetting agent. CONSTITUTION:A water-base jet ink compsn. comprising a water-soluble dye, a wetting agent and water as main ingredients contaims at least N,N-bis[polyoxyethylene]-p-toluenesulfonamide as the wetting agent. For example, 0.1- 15wt% water-soluble dye, 1-40wt% wetting agent component contg. at least N,N-bis[polyoxyethylene]-p-toluenesulfonamide and the balance of water are blended together. This water jet ink compsn. can be obtd. by mixing the water- soluble dye, the wettting agent, water and, if ncessary, other additives with stirring. If ncessary, refuse, water-insoluble matter, etc. are removed by filtration, thus obtaining a product. |
