PURPOSE:To always detect the flow of cutting oil correctly by detecting a condition where chips mixed in the cutting oil stay in a discharging nozzle or oil supply pipes to stop the flow of the oil and a valve in a floating state falls due to lowering of the flow pressure to touch the seat face. CONSTITUTION:When a flow path is blocked by chips and the flow of the oil is decreased even if oil pressure is applied due to operation of an oil supply pump, the flow pressure of oil in a valve body 1 is lowered and a valve 4 in a floating state falls and a detecting switch 6 is turned OFF to detect the flow rate decrease. Even if a lot of chips are mixed in the cutting oil due to circulating supply of the oil and left in the vicinity of a valve seat face 3, the seat face 3 which is tapered is not interfered by the chips and the valve 4 can touch the seat face 3 to prevent counter flow of the cutting oil. Furthermore, when the cutting oil is not allowed to flow even if the oil pressure is applied in the oil supply pipes 8a, 8b, the valve 4 is raised by the difference in pressure on the inlet side and the outlet side, therefore the valve 4 falls and the decrease or stop of the flow rate can be detected by the detecting switch 6.
