PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic tape, etc. having various excellent characteristics by forming a magnetic layer wherein ferromagnetic powder is dispersed in a binder contg. >=1 kinds of a cellulosic resin and a PVC-polyvinyl acetate resin, a polyurethane and a specific ratio or above of an isocyanate curing agent. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic coating material contg. 10-50pts.wt. a binder contg. 20-80wt% a resin alone or a mixture of >=1 kinds of a cellulosic resin such as nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate or the like and a resin such as a PVC-polyvinyl acetate copolymer, a PVC-polyvinyl acetate-maleic acid copolymer or the like, 30-60wt% a polyurethane resin and >=15wt% an isocyanate curing agent is manufactured. Such coating material is applied on a substrate film and is dried, then the film is subjected to super calendering and cutting, whereby a magnetic tape is obtd. The tape which has an excellent electromagnetic conversion characteristic and running durability and is adaptable to a VTR is thus obtd. |
