PURPOSE:To recover a powdery extract component having low hygroscopicity, and storable for a long period keeping the powdery state, by immersing the boiled soup of the raw material in hot oil, and dehydrating the soup by the heat of the hot oil. CONSTITUTION:Shrimps, sardines, and other animal, fish or shellfish are thrown into hot water and boiled for about 2-3hr. The obtained soup is immersed in hot oil maintained at 80-120 deg.C and maintained under a vacuum of 10-20mm.Hg for about 30min and then 740-750mm.Hg for about 3hr. The soup dehydrated to a water-content of about 6% by this process is squeezed to remove the oil and obtain the objective powdery extract component. |
