PURPOSE:To turn in front sharply a light component radiated from the side also out of lights radiated from a light emitting diode by a method wherein a protruding part is formed to a substrate, the light emitting diode is fixed to the apex thereof, and the diode and a part of a lead wire are sealed with transparent resin. CONSTITUTION:Transparent epoxy resin 42 is dropped in a pedestal 41 having inferior conformability with transparent resin, and moreover easily exfoliatable after hardening, and the resin is made to be semispherical type according to surface tension. Moreover an electrially insulated terminal 45 is penetrated through the separate substrate 44 having a terminal 47 at the edge part, the diode 43 is fixed to the lower edge protruding part 46 thereof, and is connected to the terminal 47 using the wire 48. After then, the diode 43 is immersed in the resin 42 to form the pedestal 41 and the substrate 44 in one body, and the outside circumference of the resin 42, the diode 43 and the protruding part 46 is surrounded with resin 49 of refractivity lower as compared with the resin 42. Accordingly, light radiated in the resin 42 is made so as to be reflected by the interface of the reinforcing resin 49, and the pedestal 41 fallen into disuse is removed. |
