PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary malfunction of a device at remote operations even if plural devices are provided closely together, by setting a specified remote control code by the user at each electric device such as television receiver. CONSTITUTION:Input terminals 6, 13 and output terminals 7, 11 provided with a remote control transmitter 2 and a device 1 are connected. In operating the input key of the device 1, an input is given to a microcomputer 3 with a key matrix 8, a random number is generated from a random generating circuit 5 and stored in an RAM4 as an initial code. Further, the initial code is outputted from the RAM4 to a microcomputer 9 of the remote control transmitter 2 and stored in an RAM10 built in the 9. The initial code stored in the RAM 10 is outputted to the microcomputer 3 of the device 1 again from the output terminal 11, the device 1 and the transmitter 2 confirm the stored initial code, and when they are coincident, the write is finished and displayed from a data output display section 19. |
