PURPOSE:To improve the quality of reproduced sounds, to simplify handling and to reduce the cost by holding a small ball in recessed parts of a fixed plate and a damping plate and connecting them by bellows and sealing an oil in bellows and using a head shell constitued in this manner. CONSTITUTION:Recessed parts are provided on the lower face of a fixed plate 1 and the upper face of a damping plate 2, and a small ball 3 is held in them, and both are connected by bellows 4 consisting of an oil resisting soft film, and an oil 5 having a proper viscosity is sealed in bellows. A cartridge body 7 is set to this head shell, and the head shell is connected to an ordinary arm by a connecting part 11. Consequently, the oscillation caused by the external force which is applied to a stylus 8 because of the distortion or the like of a record plate is damped by the oscillation with the small ball 3 as the fulcrum and the viscosity of the oil. The oscillation generated in the arm is damped similarly. Therefore, the quality of reproduced sounds is improved, and handling is facilitated, and the cost is reduced. |
