PURPOSE:To increase an input speed by inputting one character by touching function keys twice. CONSTITUTION:Ten function keys F0...F9 are set on a keyboard. The keying order when those ten function keys are pressed twice is allowed to correspond to KANA (Japanese syllabary) characters. For example, when ''a'' is inputted, the keys F0 and F1 are pressed. When ''chi'' is inputted, the keys F3 and F2 are pressed. Touch inputs from those pressed function keys are read and analyzed by a microcomputer to read a character code corresponding to the combination of the pressed function keys. For this purpose, character codes are stored in a memory in specific order. |
