PURPOSE:To simply and effectively remove the condensed dew in a rotary electric machine body by inclining reversely spirally to the horizontal axis the strip on the right half periphery formed on a stator frame and a strip on the left half periphery formed on the stator frame. CONSTITUTION:Strips 2b, 2c are formed on a cylindrical stator frame 2. The strip 2b on the right half periphery of the frame 2 and the strip 2c on the left half periphery are inclined reversely spirally to the horizontal axis. The water condensed in a rotary electric machine is collected to the lower ends of the strips 2b, 2c formed obliquely on the peripheral wall of the frame 2, then flowed into a pipe 16 which communicates with the lower ends of the strips 2b, 2c, and exhausted from an exit 18 formed at the lowermost position of the pipe 16 out of the machine. |
