PURPOSE:To always satisfactorily feed a sheet by providing a means for pushing down the sheet without directly touching the sheet while interlocking with the rocking motion of a hand feed guide member into a hand feed position. CONSTITUTION:A pressing plates 17, 18 serving as a pressing member projecting downward are fixed on a position opposing to a projection part 20a on both side ends 2C of a guide member 2. Upon hand guide feeding, if a guide member 2 is turned clockwise, the pressing plates 17, 18 is lowered interlocking with said turning to press down the projection part 20a, so that a middle plate 20 is also lowered, allowing the uppermost surface of a sheet P to be also lowered. Accordingly, the hand feed guide member 2 can be set in a hand feed position without touching the surface of the sheets P stacked on the middle plate 4a. |
