A wideband, modulation sensitivity compensated, voltage controlled oscillator which automatically and continuously compensates over a wide bandwidth for modulation sensitivity variations resulting from changes in the center frequency of oscillation. The invention continuously varies the coupling between the modulation circuit and the oscillator tank circuit in response to changes in the oscillator tank capacitance. Continuous modulation sensitivity compensation is thereby provided over a wide bandwidth.
