PURPOSE:To certainly prevent the leak of an internal fluid, by previously welding a sealing bellows at the inner edge in an annular groove and by welding the bellows at the outer edge on a lip at the occurrence of leak of the internal fluid to stop it. CONSTITUTION:Should a leak occur during the operation of a pump, the outer edge of a circular flat bellows 7 is weled on the outer edge of a lip 5 to take emergency measures to stop the leak and continue the operation of the pump. At that time, the tightening force of a bolt 3 for an upper flange 1 and a lower flange 2 couled fall short to allow a gap to be made between the flanges. In that case, however, an internal fluid is surely prevented from leaking, because a boundary is formed by the inner wall of an annular groove 6, the circular flat bellows 7 and the lip 5 and the bellows covers a displacement corresponding to the gap. |
