PURPOSE:To enhance the degree of accuracy in the detection of jam-up, by detecting load current in a pusher drive source at two positions when the rear end of lined-up articles in one line is pushed by a pusher so that the generation of jam-up is discriminated when a deviation between both detected values is larger than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:The drive of a motor 3 is controlled by a position detector L1 for a pusher 2 and a position detector L2 for a resistor ring 4 so that the advancing of the pusher 2 to a distance corresponding to the length of a tray is carried out in two installments. At this time contacts M1 are closed so that a time for which load current in a motor M becomes stationary is set to a timer which is not shown. After the elapse of this time the load current of the motor M is compared in a comparator circuit which is not shown until the position detectors L1, L2 are turned off, and when the deviation is greater than a predetermined value, the generation of jam-up is discriminated. With this arrangement, the generation of jam-up may be surely and rapidly detected. |
