METHOD OF LINING OF INNER SURFACE OF BRANCHED PIPE

PURPOSE:To make it possible to strongly adhere a polyvinyl chloride tube to the branched pipe part of a branched pipe by adding a process in which a treatment for reducing under heating the diameter of the polyvinyl chloride tube whose diameter becomes a little layer than that of the branched pipe part when expanded. CONSTITUTION:A short lining pipe 2 for exclusive use is prepared by adhering a brim 22 by means of melt-adhesion or with an adhesive on the pipe end of a short pipe 21 to which a heat-expanding property is given by reducing the diameter under heating in such a way that the outer diameter of the polyvinyl chloride tube which is a little larger than that of the inner diameater of the branched pipe part 12 should become a little smaller. The lining of the branched pipe part is carried out by using the short lining pipe 2 of the exclusive use. This lining can be done by such conventional methods that the lining pipe can be adhered on the inner surface of the main pipe 11 through an adhesive by expanding the lining material to the radial direction by means of a heated and compressed fluid. It is thereby possible to form a lining layer strongly adhered without any seamed line or thin thickness part on the branched part of the branched pipe.
