摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a chopper circuit for an electric motor vehicle which has a function of continuously switching regenerative and generating brakes by using a thyristor which has self extinguishing capacity. CONSTITUTION:A reverse blocking thyristor SCR 7 connected in series with an armature 10a of a main motor in a direction for shortcircuiting the induced voltage E of the armature and a thyristor GTO 6 having a slef-extinguishing capacity are connected in parallel with the armature 10a and the series connection of a series field coil 10b and a smoothing reactor 9, and a generating brake resistor 8 is conncted in parallel with the SCR 7, thereby regulating the current flow rate of the SCR 7 and the GTO 6 to continuously control the ratio of the regenerative brake power fed from the armature 10 to the resistor 8 and the power consumed at the resistor 8. With the thus structure, a chopper for an electric motor vehicle which has a function of continuously switching regnerative and generating brakes can be obtained.</p>
