<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the sentence input job and to prevent the mistake in the positioning of the head of sentence, by discriminating whether or not a sentence end at each line and changing automatically the input position of the head character of the next line. CONSTITUTION:A control section 9 commands the control of sentence end processing to a sentence end control section, when a discriminated output from a code discriminating section 3 is a character information code, in the input waiting state from a keyboard 1 after the end of margin control, in a character processor where the position of line head character of a laterally written sentence is changeable. The end of sentence control section 11 discriminates it as the end of sentence, when an input key is a code such as end of page or sentence forming start or when a carriage return code is inputted and the preceding character is a period, and sets the content of the 2nd left margin register 7 to a cursor register 4. When the preceding character is other than the period, the content of the 1st left margin register 6 is set. Thus, the head of sentence is shifted without noticing the end of sentence.</p> |
