PURPOSE:To prevent accidents owing to the plugging of a stream switch by a method wherein a magnetic filter is arranged at the position lower than the level of the supply water connecting hole, and the down stream side of the filter is connected to the high level water passage and the stream switch is connected at the down stream of the filter. CONSTITUTION:A filter portion 12 is installed as a unit at the supply water communicating hole of the body of the hot water supply unit in which a burner 5 and a heater exchanger 6 are contained. This filter portion 12 contains a filter 17 made of magnetic metal provided with large diameter stream channel communicating with a water channel 12a at the position lower than the supply water connecting hole, and make water passages taking the shape of a crank which go to a high level water passage 12c through a low level water passage 12b on the down stream of the filter 17. By this method, chips or iron rust in the supply water are removed by absorbing on the filter 17, and also accumulated at the bottom of the water passage 12a, and the defect such as plugging of the stream switch connected at the down stream of the water of the water of the water passage 12c may be prevented. |
