PURPOSE:To facilitate machining and assembling of a superconductive rotor and to improve the cooling efficiency of the rotor by composing a torque tube of double cylinders, and providing groove of a coolant passage on the surfaces contacting with each other. CONSTITUTION:An outside torque tube 1a is composed of a flange 8 connected to a shaft, and a coil container flange 9 formed at part of a coil container 6 and having a passage 10 for a coolant He. An inside torque tube 1b provided with a groove 7 of a coolant passage is engaged with the outer periphery, and welded at the positions 11, 12 to the flange 9 and the shaft side flange 9. The interior surrounded by the tubes 1a, 1b, the shaft and the flanges 8, 9 is maintained in vacuum, radiation heat is reflected by a radiation shield 13 to suppress the heat inflow to the coil container as large as possible. |
