New pharmaceutical compositions endowed with nooanaleptic and thymoanaleptic properties are described, in which compositions the active principle is chosen from the group consisting of 7-[(10,11-dihydrodibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-5-yl)amino]heptanoic acid, one of its addition salts with a therapeutically compatible inorganic or organic base or one of its addition salts with a therapeutically compatible inorganic or organic acid. The active principle is incorporated in an inert, non-toxic excipient or vehicle suitable for buccal, parenteral, sublingual or rectal administration. |
