PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature in heated feedwater from lowering when a large quantity of hot water is discharged, by constituting the titled water heater to be automatically operated in such a manner that a feedwater valve is closed when a hot feedwater mechanisms is in operation, while a feedwater valve is opened on the water level at the lower limit in a tank, and it is closed on the level at the upper limit. CONSTITUTION:When a hot water tank 2 is filled with water and a water level sensor 22 senses the upper level limit L2, a waterfeed valve 20 is automatically closed, and a motor 10 is ready to be operated. A control circuit 7 is opened by turning a hotwater feed switch 23 ON, and the motor 10 and a hot-water feed valve 18 are operated to feed hot water. The feedwater valve 20 is held in a closed position until the water level comes down to the lower level limit L1. When the water level reaches the lower leve limit L1, a signal is put into the controller 7 from the sensor 22 and a motor 9 is stopped, while the water feed valve 20 is automatically opened to start feeding of water. With such an arrangement, feedwater is stopped until almost all quantity of hot water is fed out, so that the temperature in feed hot-water can be kept constant. |
