<p>The diaper comprises an absorbent batt between a pervious facing sheet and a waterproof backing sheet, the crotch region of the diaper being gathered by an elastic netting panel attached when stretched at least to the marginal edges of the crotch region. Pref. the elastic netting panel is attached by lines of hot-melt adhesive to the centre of a narrowed crotch region of the diaper, and pref. to the facing sheet.</p> |
