PURPOSE:To eliminate special heating means by a method wherein a step by which pressure injection means is temporarily stopped is provided between an igniting operation and a combusting operation. CONSTITUTION:Atomized fuel is ignited by a spark of an ignition electrode 8, mixed with air fed from an air cylinder 7 in a spacd 10 above a nozzle 4 to perform their dispersion combustion therein. At this time, a flame impinges against the inverted-recessed part 11 of a catalyst 9. An igniting operation is performed until the catalyst 9 reaches to such a temperature wherein an oxidation catalyst reaction can be performed. Then, when the catalyst 9 reaches to such a temperature as the oxidation catalyst reaction can be performed, the operations of fuel pump 3 and igniter 15 is temporarily stopped. Thereafter, only the fuel pump 3 is operated, and the fuel is gasified under a hot temperature of the catalyst 9, while the combustion air is supplied from a blower 5, sufficiently mixed with the fuel and then they are combustioned. Thus, it is made possible to provide a liquid fuel combustion device requiring no special heating means. |
