PURPOSE:To increase the electrostatic conveying force of a drum and to send a thick, small-sized form securely by sending out an assistant form from an automatic paper feed tray automatically at optimum timing and superposing it upon a manually inserted form during manual insertion copying of the thick, small- sized form. CONSTITUTION:In normal automatic paper-feeding copying, a copying form is carried out of a form tray 20 by a paper feed roll 6 and then sent out to a drum 4 by a conveyor roll 12 to perform transfer. In manual insertion copying, a conveyance time is controlled so that a manually inserted form and a copying form from the paper feed tray 20 reaches a register roll 12 at the same time. Namely, when a small-size copy button 24 is pressed and a small-sized form is inserted into a tray 8 for manual insertion, a manual insertion sensor 9 outputs a detection signal and a microcomputer 30 receives said signal and the detection signal and the output signal of the copy button 24 to output control command to driving circuits 26 and 27, to rotate motors 60 and 100. |
