The invention relates to a boiler 1 in which heat exchange is effected between air laden with the combustion gases G issuing from the hearth of a furnace and water E circulating inside a heat exchanger 4, for the purpose of producing hot water. The said heat exchange is obtained by means of a combustion chamber 1a, interacting with heat exchanger 4 containing the water E and preferably having the shape of a cylinder in which are arranged: a furnace support 5 on which burning fuel rests; a flue 3 drawing off the combustion gases G; a combustion-air inlet A; a fuel supply 7; an ash box 8 for removal of the combustion residues, situated beneath the furnace support 5. This boiler is notable in that it consists of a movable furnace support 5 which conveys the fuel 6 between its supply point 7 and its disposal point 7 into the ash box 8, and being formed from a refractory-metal lattice in the shape of an endless belt 9 stretched between two rollers, a driving roller 9a and a return roller 9b. <IMAGE>
