PURPOSE:To make high kneading, medium kneading and non-kneading selectable and to contrive a reduction of the cost of installation through a simple device, by a method wherein an openable and closable housing chamber is provided on part of a heating cylinder of the external circumference of a screw shaft and a planet shaft for kneading and a shaft of a wall surface are used in a combined state. CONSTITUTION:After opening of an opening and closing block 31, two planet shafts 37 for kneading is fixed in the block 31 for high kneading, the planet shaft 37 and a shaft 38 of a wall surface are fixed in the block 31 for medium kneading and the two shafts 38 are fixed in the block 31 for nonkneading, and then the block 31 is closed. Then preparation of operation is completed by heating a heating cylinder 11 through electrification of a band heater 29 and rotating a screw shaft 12. Then when a resin material and mixing substance are loaded into a hopper 23 they are loaded into a loading hole 22 and sent into the heating cylinder 11 by the screw shaft for melting in order, and when a kneading device 21 is in a kneading state, they are kneaded here under a given state and sent to an extrusion outlet 28. A titled extruder, therefore, is economic as the unit extruder can be served both for a machine whose kneading efficiency is high and a machine whose kneading efficiency is low. |
