PURPOSE:To impress easily an external bias to diodes by fitting strip conductors of which whole length is fixed on specific length to the rear side of a dielectric plate instead of a metallic wire to be acted as a mode filter. CONSTITUTION:The strip conductors 14a-14c of which whole length is about 1/2 wavelength are fitted to the rear side of the dielectric plate 3. Since an odd mode wave transmitted on a coplanar line has a magnetic field component in the advancing direction, the wave is magnetically coupled with the strip conductors 14a-14c fitted on the back of the dielectric plate and acted as a band reflecting filter by fixing the whole length on 1/2 wavelength. On the other hand, an even mode wave is not coupled with the strip conductors 14 magnetically, so that the stip conductors 14 are acted as a mode filter. Since these strip conductors 14a-14c are fitted to the rear side of the dielectric plate, earth conductors 6a, 6b are prevented from connection for inflow of DC. Consequently, the external bias can be impressed to the diodes arrayed on the coplanar line in parallel. |
