PURPOSE:To obtain a color polarizer which is free of physical disorder and recognizes a natural color change by forming polarizing hue areas on a hydrophilic polymer oriented film so that part of one hue area overlaps part of the other hue area in a mesh dot shape. CONSTITUTION:Titled color polarizer consists of a red polarizing hue area 1, red-violet mesh-dot polarizing hue area 2', violet-blue mesh-dot polarizing hue area 3', and blue polarizing hue area 3. This polarizer is obtained by forming a polarizing hue area B wherein a violet polarizing element is oriented suctionally on the hydrophilic polymer oriented film so that part of the area A is superposed at mesh dots B' upon a polarizing hue area A where, for example, a red polarizing element is oriented suctionally. Further, a polarizing hue area C where a blue polarizing element is oriented suctionally is formed so that part of it is superposed upon the hue area B at mesh dots C'. |
