PURPOSE:To obtain a polarizer which has no odd feel and is recognizable as a natural change in color by forming a polarizable hume region where a part of one hue region is superposed on the other hue regin so as to form a pattern on a hydrophilic high polymer oriented film. CONSTITUTION:A color polarizer is produced by constituting a blue polarizable hue region 1, a red polarizable hue region 2 and a violet polarizable hue region 3 except the colors used in the former two regions on an oriented hydrophilic polymer film. The polarizer is obtd. by superposing a polarizable hue region B adsorbed and oriented with, for example, a blue polarization element. The hydrophilic high polymer film used is exemplified by a PVA film, partially formalized PVA film or the like and the polarization element is exemplified by dichromatic dyes having color tones of red, blue, violet, yellow and green. |
