PURPOSE:To enhance the sharpness and color density of the picture pattern to be printed on plywood, by constituting the titled character plate by adhering a sheet material formed by laminating a transparent synthetic resin film to a paper material having the picture pattern of a character printed thereto on the plate. CONSTITUTION:The transparent polypropylene film 4 wound up by a wind-up roller 9 is conveyed to be laminated to the surface of a paper material to which the picture pattern 2 of a character such as an animal is preliminarily applied by offset printing and the film 4 is cut so as to be aligned to the paper material 3 to form a sheet material 1. In the next step, an adhesive 6 is applied to the back surface side of the sheet material 1 by an adhesive roller 10 and the coated sheet material is aligned on the veneer board 5 conveyed by a conveyor 11 to be laminated thereto. After the whole is further pressed, a cutting line 8 is provided so as to be pierced from the sheet material 1 to the plywood 5 along the contour of the picture pattern 2 by the blade chip 14 of a sharp cutter 5. |
