PURPOSE:To equalize amplitude distortion to be changed in accordance with fading change, by providing the titled device with two variable phase shifter equalizing primary amplitude distortion and a 0-pi phase shifter equalizing secondary amplitude distortion. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of variable phase shifters 22,28 are synthesized at an HYB12 and amplitude control corresponding to control voltage II and polarity are applied to the synthesized signal by a 0-pi phase shifter 29 to be controlled by the voltage II to vary the phase and amplitude of the synthesized signal. The signal to be varied at its phase is synthesized with a main signal by an HYB14 and the composed signal is outputted from an output terminal 9. When the control phase of the phase shifter 29 is reversed from 0 to pi by the value of control voltage II, the amplitude characteristics is turned to 1-2r cos (omegatau+theta). If theta is changed in accordance with the control voltages I , II and observed at an optional frequency band, the primary and secondary amplitude distortion generated by fading is equalized by a signal I equalizing the primary amplitude distortion and a signal II equalizing the secondary amplitude distortion. |
