PURPOSE:To execute the signal processing of output signals easily by guiding and transferring plural bits to/from plural strings of CCD registers, converting charge into voltage, amplifying the converted voltage by plural output transistors (TRs) and then outputting plural signals. CONSTITUTION:An optical image inputted through a color filter is photoelectrically converted by a color image pickup area part 21 and signal charge of each horizontal line after the photoelectric conversion is transferred in the vertical direction. The signal charge from the area part 21 is transferred in the horizontal direction by a horizontal CCD shift register 22 and the signal charge of the register 22 which consists of plural bits is transmitted and controlled in the parallel direction by a shift gate 23 arranged close to the final stage of the register 22. The transmitted charge from the register 22 is applied to charge/ voltage converting parts 251-253 through CCD shift registers 241-243 for each color signal to convert the charge into voltage. The converted voltages are outputted from output TRs 261-263, so that the signal processing of the output signals is easily performed. |
