The invention relates to radiant tubes for heating furnaces. The burner comprises a cylindrical air-intake sleeve with an inlet section 6 and an outlet section 9 which are mounted coaxially in the radiant body 1 so as to form an annular channel equipped with a transverse partition 14, with holes 15 and 16 located, respectively, at the centre and at the periphery for the passage of air. Application in metallurgy and in mechanical construction for the physico-chemical treatment of metal articles. <IMAGE>
