An arm (1) has a pushbutton (4) on a predetermined site, the pushbutton being arranged so as to interact with a contact piece (2) in a circuit in which a display unit (9) is switched for display of the contact made and/or of the frequency of successive contacts. The contact piece (2) is located, together with another contact piece (6), in another circuit in which another display unit (9) is switched. The pressure necessary for generating a contact display in the first-mentioned display unit (9) is higher than that required for generating a contact display in the other display unit. It is thus possible to determine a pressure value range which is delimited, on the one hand, by the contact display of the first display unit (9) and, on the other hand, by the contact display of the second display unit (8). The apparatus built into a human dummy permits practising cardiac massage which requires, on the one hand, a high pressure to be exerted while, on the other hand, exertion of an excessively high pressure results in injury to the patient or damage to the dummy. <IMAGE>
