摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of gauge, and to reduce the frequency of breakage, by detecting a sheet tension between stands, and controlling the tension by changing a drooping value of a stand at the front stage or the rear one. CONSTITUTION:A tension of a sheet 3 between the work rolls 1 at a stand of front stage and the work rolls 2 at a stand of rear stage is measured by a tesiometer 4 to obtain an unit tension by using the sheet thickness and sheet width as controlling parameters. The unit tension is inputted to a dead band setter 5, and the setter 5 outputs when the input of the unit tension is lower or higher than a prescribed range of unit tension. The output signal is amplified by an amplifier 6, and the amplified signal is inputted to a dropping value variable circuit 8 through a limiter 7 to input a control signal to a driving motor 10 through an automatic speed regulator 9, thereby controlling the speed of work rolls 2 at the stand of rear stage.</p>
